THE BOARD OF THE COMMITTEE:


Fulfilling prof. Józef Szajna – the author of the Mound of the Remembrance and Reconciliation idea's wish, the Board will consist of 7 members, with two members chosen by the Christian Association of the Auschwitz Families – the organization of the ex-prisoners of the KL Auschwitz, which has done a lot to start this action and the heads of the local and state authorities in the Voivodeship of Małopolska. The members were chosen to make the administrative procedures easier in accordance with the idea of the project:
  1. Janusz Marszałek – the Mayor of the Town of Oświęcim
  2. Józef Kała – the Councillor of the County of Oświęcim
  3. Marek Nawara – the Marshal of the Voivodeship of Małopolska of the 1st tenure
  4. Gerard Madej – the Associate Mayor of the Town of Oświęcim
  5. Mieczysław Ficek – the Chairman of the Board of the Zasole Estate
  6. Bogdan Wasztyl – ChSRO
  7. Jan Parcer – ChSRO
